Grape juice and strawberry juice contain the powerful antioxidant vitamin C. Antioxidants help against premature ageing and also neutralise free radicals. Free radicals are a contributing factor to heart disease.
Grapes skins also contain the substance 'Resveratrol' which is thought to be converted by the body to a form that may be cancer-fighting. Red grapes contain higher levels of Resveratrol than green grapes.
