6 ripe plums
Large handful strawberries
5 sweet apples (e.g. Golden Delicious / pink lady)
2 Oranges
This is certainly one for the fruitarians as well as those who love their strawberries and cream.
The strawberries although not the most dominant ingredient on paper can really be identified in this juice recipes taste.
Who'd of thought eating healthily could taste so good? Plums and strawberries are both good sources of vitamin C which helps boost the immune system and is a powerful antioxidant. Strawberries are also a source of Ellagic acid which is thought to prevent carcinogens from forming cancerous cells from healthy cells.
This recipe is also beneficial to the digestive system as plums contain a substance that stimulates movement of the bowels and apples contain the soluble fibre pectin which also aids bowel movement.
Make sure to remove the plum stones before juicing the plums.
