User reviews of Breville Antony Worrall Thompson Juicer
Review by Sharon Contini from St. Louis I saw a few of the other reviews and I still have no trouble with jamming or leaking. I do scrubb the strainer after each time I make juice but this takes on a quick swish under the sink faucet. I still love mine. Score: 5 out of 5 |
Review by Sally-Anne from Bucks I have had one of these for 2 years. Over time the filter basket has clogged up and become impossible to clean properly. Juice from the machine tastes mouldy. Do Breville do spare parts so I can buy a spare filter? NO. So now it''s fit for the junk heap. Good only if you belong to the throwaway society. Score: 2 out of 5 |
Review by Mick from Coventry Is it just me? It is very, very noisy, and the pulp is not ejected. Pulp from apples or carrots sticks to the inside and builds up until the machine jams up, causing it to leak, while the pulp container remains almost empty. Poor design and a waste of money. Score: 1 out of 5 |
Review by Sharon Contini from St. Louis, MO I bought 600watt motor Breville after reseaching juciers in my price range. Score: 5 out of 5 |
Review by Edna from Jax The Breville juicer is great. Thisis my third juicer and I like it better than the previous brands I have own. The Breville is easy to clean and it''s easy to assembly. Most importantly, it extracts a bountiful amount of juice from fruits and vegetables. Score: 5 out of 5 |
Review by debbie from Corbridge My juicer exploded yesterday moring whilst I was juicing oranges. I was peppered with shards of hard broken plastic. Searching reviews yto find similar incidents if any to try to piece together an explanation! Score: 5 out of 5 |
Review by Daryl from Derbyshire i am a diabetic, and was informed that juicing certain fruit and veg would be very beneficial in helping me keep my blood glucose levels normal. i duly proceeded to checkout the juicer market finaly settling for the a.w.t.(breville)850 watt motor version. i''ve had the juicer for about 4 weeks now, in which time i''ve thrown all sorts of concoctions together and it''s performed perfectly everytime, so i would like to mention a couple of things that stand out about this machine. Score: 5 out of 5 |
Review by Tom from Durham I have been using the AWT JE3 for two weeks now. It is my second juicer and am very inpressed with its performance. Big chute...brilliant, I don''t find it too noisy, more importantly the pulp is allot dryer than my old juicer and it is fast. The juice is much better collected in the one litre jug..straight in too ! Compared to my other juicer it has to get top marks. Score: 5 out of 5 |
Review by Lynn from London I have been quite impressed by my shiny new Breville juicer. Nice and quick for juicing carrots and apples which is what I juice most of. Only downside is that it can be a bit noisy. Cleaning is pretty easy apart from the mesh but it comes with a brush for the mesh which helps. I am a converted juicer! Score: 4 out of 5 |
Review by Mandy B from Manchester I am new to juicing and this is my first juicer. Overall I am pleased with the results, i am juicing mainly fruit and some vegetables such as carrot and celery. Problem is I now want to try juicing other stuff such as wheatgrass and spinach which the AWT won''t do. The wide feed chute makes for a quick juice production time as I can put most stuff down it whole. All parts are simple to rinse clean. I would recommend this Breville juicer to all those new to the world of juicing. Score: 4 out of 5 |
Review by James from Rutland I recently (June 2004) tried to buy one of these only to find that a ''new, improved'' version is now being sold. This one has 850w motor and two speed juicing for hard/soft fruits/vegetables. The slow speed is wonderfully quiet, though the high speed is understandably noisier. All in all, it''s efficient, easy to clean (all removable parts disherwasher safe - though I haven''t succumbed to that yet, goodlooking, and does what it says on the box. You even get a nylon brush to clean the micromesh filter and a recipe book (the latter is quite basic though). As a novice to juicing, I''m more than pleased with it and know it definitely won''t be one of those machines you use once or twice and then pack away. Score: 5 out of 5 |
Review by Graham from Nottinghamshire After discovering this site it prompted me to go out and purchase my first juicer. Not being a big eater of fruit or vegetables I thought this would be the ideal solution to ensuring that I benefited from the goodness available. Score: 4 out of 5 |
