OK but I've gone back to my Kempo

Rating: 2 out of 5

Having first had a Green Power Kempo juicer I was persuaded to try the much bulkier Green Star thinking that bigger must be better but I was very disappointed. Although the juice quality and taste is as good as from my Green Power Kempo, unfortunately the Green Star makes much more foam on top of the juice which seems wasteful when trying to juice small amounts. The Green Star has more pieces to assemble and clean too which is a pain. Even though the twin gears are bigger and made of solid steel I managed to break one of them while juicing wheat grass so I got rid of this monster sized juicer and went back to using my friendly little Green Power Kempo juicer. It is easier to use, takes less time to clean and it takes up a lot less space in my kitchen. I have since found out that the Green Star is a much older model in the same family of twin gear juicers and the Green Power Kempo is the new improved model. I wish I'd known this before wasting my money on the Green Star.

Takes a while but great juice

I got this juicer after realising I needed to seriously change my diet. The juice is makes sure is great and I am feeling a whole lot better since using it regularly. I don't use the other attachments much but am juicing regularly. It takes a while to do but I sometimes make double the amount and put it in fridge for 12 hours. Juice still tastes and feels great.

We got this juicer after having a bit of a health wake up call and have really taken to it. Chose the Green star after reading a number of reviews online and it has been working reliably for a couple of years with no problems.

We have fresh juice every day (mainly vegetable juice) and both me and my husband have noticed a considerable increase in our energy levels and alertness since we started juicing. This is a great juicer.

I got my Green Star just a few weeks ago as I wanted a juicer that could make me the most nutritious juice - after reading online reviews I chose the Green Star because of the many awards it has won.

I am pleased to say it looks like the extra cash I paid to get a Green Star has been worth it. The juice is definetly superior to any juice I have had in juice bars. I juice mainly vegetables but also wheatgrass (when I have time to grow it). The green star handles it all with no problem though be make sure to get to grips with the pulp outlet pressure nozzle to get the most efficient juicing action.

The only nag with the green Star is the time it takes to cut the vegetables small enough so that they can fit down the chute.
